Different kind of experience

Have you ever had an experience that can be hard to shake? Felt an energy in the circle that you dont know how to explain? I have experience this twice. Once about 2 years ago and just recently. I caught up with an old friend and even though we haddnt seen each other in ages it was like it was just the other day. Well where we caught up is the same place we last caught up. There is a circle. An unexplainable energy. There are trees and is next to the river. 

I often wondered if the energy i felt was a revitalizing energy. I never could tell weither or not it was a good feeling or not. As I think about it, my element is fire so trees or wood element gives me strength and water calms me down.so maybe this could be the reason. But i deffinatly felt something there. It opened my eyes to the things i really want andneed in my life. The last time we were there i went to the spots of the circle and felt an ocerwhelming feeling. But i didnt know if it was a good thing or not. Anyway while catching up with my friend I was remembered of the times we met and hung out 2years ago. And what I was like back then. I have grown up a little bit since then.

This blog feels abit jumbled but meh thats just how my brain ticks sometimes. 

But this is just to remember those times and to let it out to the universe. I will always remember those memories and will cherish them. Im glad to have had the chance to relive it one more time. 

Thank you for the memories and enjoy the life ahead. I will always remember you and the experiences we shared.

Getting creative #Done

Here are my chairs i had been doing. All done and table all set up thanks to my big sister my big cousin and my aunty who were at my house while I went to work. So happy with the result. I just have to cover the tall white chairs then bam! Done x

Getting creative #6

Here I go again. Getting creative with some chairs that I was given for our table. We only have a table so i was given these chairs. So I thought id jaz them up. Have only painted one coat so still a fair bit to go. Then to add the material and put them back together! Will post a pic of the chairs next to the table when it is complete.

Paying it forward #5

So my pay it forward this week can be all my creative things iv made because they are being given away. And for hosting my sister amd brother inlaw and niece & nephew while they visited the temple. X

Lol couldnt think of any actual pay it forwards. But those are still something. Its all about giving !!

Also my sweets took me out to dinner the other night. It felt like a pat it forward to me. We went to a little Italian caffe. It was soo yum x it always feels good be paid forward. Makes things so much happier. Which is why i try to pay it forward at least once a week.

So i made another blankie for my godson for him to take home. Its rasta colours because his name sake the late Marky liked these colours. Made witj bandanas and i got them from Te Awamutu where sons dad was brought up even.

Bunting. My new hobbie. Well i have always done sewing. So i made tge blanket and i have been meaning to make these for my friends daughters room. So far i have sewed the pink &  brown triangles and cut out the others. Just need to buy some ribbon to run them on.

So i posted not long ago the material for a baby blanket. Well taadaa its now done. Took me about 1 hour to make. Looks pretty cool if i may say so myself. Lol. It will look cool in the portacot tht i got him too.

So recently you would have noticed in my blog my godson was born a couple of days ago. So I made him a baby stat thing that I saw on Pinterest <--- click there to see. I posted my version of my godsons birth stat on facebook and my friend thought it was cool and asked one, so below are pics of the ones I have done so far !!

My mum a dad were sealed yesterday, such a blessing for my family. Even though I couldnt be apart of it due to my inactivity it sure is my goal. I am soo proud and happy for my mum and dad, especially my dad, because he has waited 43 years of earthly marriage to finally be sealed to our mum for all eternity. 

The week prior to the marvelous occasion had been a big trail for me, the adversary put doubt and ugly thought in my head. But now I know and understand that this is a true blessing. These last couple of days have been a testament to my testimony that this church The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church on earth. And that families can be together forever through Heavenly Father and the Saviour's plan. This experience has built a solid foundation for my goal. Now the hard part is about to come, but I know that it will be the next happiest day of my life hehe.

This experience has brought me and my siblings back together and realize that there is no other people on this earth who I want as my siblings. I was soo happy that our big brother Billy came down from Auckland to celebrate at Dinner with us so that we could all be together, even if it was just for a short while. I am grateful for my big cousin, who I turn to in times of need, when I need advice she is always there for me, and she was through this experience aswell, and went to the temple with my family on my behalf. She even put my name down in the temple on the prayer roll hehe I love you x. I was glad to be in the same place as my niece Aryanna on her first time into the temple to do baptisms, she is growing up so fast. And I am so proud of the example my nieces and nephews are to me and to their peers. love them very much. x 

Anyway I had written a whole long post on my phone but it was deleted. So Im just trying to remember what else I wrote. I just feel like im a changed person after yesterday. I was given two blessing, my family being able to be together forever and my godson was born. So Heavenly Father knew what he was doing when he made both happen in one day. It shows me that this is a sign.

In saying all this, I still do have a testimony of the church and believe its true, I believe that the Prophet is true and that he is a prophet of God. And that families can be together forever through the right process of being worthy and righteous. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

4th October 2013 at 3:37pm weighing 6pounds 15oz via c-section introducing Marky Daryl Morehu Tipene-Saunders. Proud parents Ebony Tipene and Patrick Saunders.

After a long morning and day of labour the doctors finally brought you into this world. I came to see you at 8pm and you are the cutest lil boy I ever did see. I fell in love at first sight. I held you and cuddled you and kissed you. Even gave you a hongi. Hehe

Honestly I felt like a changed woman after seeing you. You decided to come on the most perfect day. Heavenly Father knew why too. Because my mum and dad were sealed in his Temple on the 4th Oct 2013 aswell. Such a blessed day for all.

I dreamt about you and I cant get you out of my mind. You are my little blessing and I know for sure you are the blessing of your family.

Son, you are named after 4 important people in your life. Marky, after your late uncle Marky your mums brother who passed away earlier this year. Morehu after your maternal granduncle I believe is your mummy's godfather and Daryl after your paternal grandfather and also your cousin Daryl.

Welcome to this world full of love, laughter, pain and suffering but with you in it, will surely make the world see. Brighter.

Love you son. We will come and see you today and have a photo with ur godpapah too.

Well your mother is now 8cm dialated. Only 2cm til she can push you out. Today is your uncle Tyrone birthday too. Yay so excited.

Feeling Blessed

Finally got that yukky feeling away and finally feeling the love again. Aahh i feel soo relaxed and content having my family all staying under my roof. Knowing that tomorrow will be a big day for them. My mum & dad are getting sealed in the temple. They have been married for 40years already and now finally making it eternal. My niece Aryanna is going to be doing baptizums for the first time as a young woman. I remember my first time. We drove in a van from Gisborne to Hamilton after school on a friday evening. Arriving in Hamilton late at night maybe 1 or 2am. Talking the whole way. Only to do 5 names in the temple. They were funny names not funny haha more like difficult to pronounce.

Well today is the day. May Heavenly Father bless my family and help us learn more about why we need to do his work. 

Feeling much better today. My cousin Carol shes like a sister to me, she knows how iv been feeling and she is coming up from Rotorua today to be here with my mum . I am so happy that she is coming. Shes even going to put my name down in the temple. I love her. 

And tonight we will celebrate by having dinner together as a family and my older brother Billy is going to be coming down from Auckland too so we will all be together.

Getting Creative

So today I got to spend some time with my godson's mum & dad. Today is his due date. I am soo anxious and excited about his arrival. I cant wait. So I decided to get CREAVTIVE.

So Im going to make (providing my mum brings the sewing machine) a baby blanket/throw thingy for him. So today I went to Spotlight to get some ideas. And out I came with some material. Below is a pic of the material I got. The coloured ones are cotton I think and the black one is minky/silky feeling. lol

So all I need now is a pattern, and figure out how I am going to put it together. Watch this space for more posts about it :)

Pay it forward #4

So last night at work, these three random ladies came into work. They had just been travelling around NZ before they head back to Australia. They had come back for their nanny's tangi. So they thought they would go home the long way round. When they got to Kihikihi they saw our sign that says "Cold Beer Here", so they thought "oohh yumm" and called in. They had one handle and decided that they were going to find them some accommodation and stay for a drink. They thought it was a nice little quiet pub and felt really comfortable there. So being a Tuesday we close up at around 6:45pm, then im usually out the door at 7pm. But last night I thought id stay open just that little bit longer for them. They seemed to be having a good time. Closer to the time they had to leave because I was closing up, I offered them a ride to their motel, but they refused as it was only down the road. They brought them a crate of beer, and were off. So I thought. I finished up and locked up and they were outside taking selfies with their crate. Living in Australia I dont think they get them there. So again I offered them a ride to get them some dinner from the fish & chip shop and back to the motel. They said no, and I asked if they were sure. So they decided to take up my offer. They were a funny lot of ladies. Drunken talking and laughing and telling me their stories. I didnt even know their name, and one lady said to me, "haha we dont even know your name?" so I told them "oh my name is Jojo". Anyway they got their kai and I took them back to their motel. They invited me in for some kai. So I stayed for a few minutes then left.

They flew back to Australia today, but they seemed to have a good night. Having their little 'sister' time before they headed home. So my pay it forward this week was giving these ladies a ride from the pub.

And also I have been helping my friend with taking her daughter to kindy as they have no car at the moment. Always happy to help people out. Most definitely helping my friends.
